Ollie - Michaele & Dan
Seven months ago, I hated my relationship with my dog, Ollie. When we decided to bring a dog into our family in January of 2023, we thought we were getting a calm therapy dog that was hypoallergenic. Ollie was...not that. (Except the hypoallergenic part).
He was anxious. Reactive. Nervous. Not confident. An absolute nightmare to walk on the streets of Charlestown. Destroyed our seatbelts in the car. We tried so many things but they weren't quite the right think for his anxious, worried mind. The only thing we did do right was potty training, that was NEVER an issue!
We needed to find the right trainer for his energy, who understood him and even more importantly, could TEACH US. I am not even remotely exaggerating when I say that Taylor changed our lives, including Ollie. She, as a subject matter expert in dog behavior and dog training, built a relationship with Ollie and with us and gave us the tools to help Ollie succeed.
He's always going to be a little anxious and a little weirdo about his personal space (WHO ISN'T?) but now, thanks to Taylor, we know how to manage it. What does that mean for our family?
Walks are enjoyable. I look forward to our two mile walks twice a day. I don't resent Ollie for his behavior (that wasn't his fault) and don't feel like we made a terrible decision for our family.
We have a rapport we never had before. He jumps into his crate in the car, no problem. And finally, he has learned to relax on the couch so WE can relax on the couch...and he confidently sleeps in his crate downstairs 10 - 11 hours every night.
@thetayloreddog you are a goddess in our household, we can never thank you enough.
Riggins - Kristen H.
Taylor is absolutely amazing. She is calm, patient, and knowledgeable. I couldn’t walk a couple of feet with out Riggs practically ripping my arm off! Just after one lesson with Taylor I could already see a change in his walking behavior. Not only did she train him but she took the time to also educate me which I think is most important. She provided me with the tools I needed so I could be successful with Riggs and continue everything she had worked on! I can confidently walk with him right next to me all thanks to her! She even worked on off leash training…..never thought it was possible! Truly one of the best trainers we have worked with! Highly recommend!

It takes a village, raising babies, raising puppies. As an individual working in the pet care industry and trying to juggle many hats, finding a safe and productive outlet for my 5 month old, high drive dog was feeling a bit ominous. I didn't want daycare, nor did I want him as just a number at the many random "day schools" popping up around the city. I wanted my pup to have time away from me in an environment that would manage a healthy activity schedule that was age appropriate, included rest, assorted environmental exposure and could help keep his toileting schedule on track and outside. When I first mentioned this to Taylor we both chuckled and then I said, "no, seriously, take him!" It was a perfect fit. Taylor and I communicated about growth and set backs over the weeks and I ended up with a well versed puppy in leash skills, with emotional adaptability in new environments and boldness when away from me. I definitely see some refreshers in the future and wouldn't hesitate to send my next puppy. Thank you Taylor!
Charlie - Jess D.
As a new puppy owner everything can be so overwhelming and confusing - and Taylor has been the most amazing resource!
She took a very thoughtful approach with Charlie’s training, set reasonable expectations, recommended a schedule, and equipment (leashes, collars, etc) to make training better for everyone.
I couldn’t be happier with the progress that Charlie has made - truly a result of Taylor’s coaching and patience. It’s amazing that she’s helping Charlie build confidence in new experiences while also teaching him how to behave.
I can’t thank Taylor enough for positive attitude, support, and coaching through raising my puppy!
